This is the headline from an AP story that was published on 4/19/06:Social Security Loses Billions To Ineligible, Overpaid Disability Beneficiaries.According to an SSA report, between October 2003 and November 2005, the social security administration made $5.1 billion in overpayments to beneficiaries and paid $9.1 billion to ineligible beneficiaries.
