Auto insurance cheaters in the garden state

Richard Rubin, of the Charlotte Observer, writes that North Carolina plays a role in a new type (new to me, at least) of insurance scam. Apparently, because its so easy to get an NC plate (you don't need an NC license or proof of residence to get a vehicle registered here), drivers in new jersey (and also the state of new york) are getting them simply to get their vehicles insured at North
