Disability Appeals

Appeals for social security disability or SSI disability claim denials can be filed by either a claimant or by an individual representing a claimant. At the first appeal level (following the denial of an initial claim), appeals tend to be overwhelmingly denied. At the second appeal level, however, the odds of winning tend to go up substantially.
